Who are we?
We are Dunedin based University students with a longstanding curiosity and passion for learning. While helping younger siblings make their way through NCEA, we both realised just how much of an impact having the right academic support can have on a student's journey, and how much we enjoyed being a part of it. We started tutoring other students in a variety of Science and Maths subjects, and years down the road, we are still continually developing our methods and learning new skills.
We want to ensure every student feels encouraged and empowered to reach their full potential. This is why we have taken the time to find talented like-minded tutors to join us in providing the best academic support we can.

I originally started tutoring a few years ago while still in High School and really enjoyed it so I have kept going since then! I am passionate about sharing my love for Science and focus on tailoring my lessons to each student’s learning style, encouraging them to ask as many questions as they need. This has been a wonderful opportunity to support younger students and help them find efficient learning methods which they can add to their study toolbox to use throughout their academic journey.
In my spare time, I really enjoy baking and playing the guitar. I also love sending letters to my penpals around the world!

My tutoring journey began when my brother needed help with NCEA. As I reviewed the familiar content with him, I realized that the topics I had struggled with in high school made much more sense when viewed from a different perspective. Seeing his grades improve significantly, I was inspired to start tutoring more seriously to help other students see the same success.

I have a passion for all things maths and technology, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch my students' interest in these subjects grow as they reach their academic goals. In my lessons, I focus on breaking down tough concepts into clear, engaging parts, making learning both enjoyable and effective.

During my free time, I also enjoy reading about interesting topics, video games, art, coding, and trying out different recipes!​​​
